Zoom Workshop Review
The wire weaving workshop is about much more than weaving with wire. In many ways, it is a class on creativity and finding inspiration in your surroundings and your materials from an artist who is generous with her knowledge and shares it enthusiastically. I wasn’t sure what to expect with a Zoom class, but the pacing was spot on with great handouts and videos. Throughout the three days, Christine stayed with the group answering questions, offering advice, and encouraging all of us.

You can see examples of Christine's woven metal work below. What direction do you want to take with your own woven metal fabric? Christine will support your creative ideas to bring them to reality!
Sculptural Forms
The woven metal fabric is ideal for creating sculptural forms. The fabric is strong but flexible and can be fashioned into an unending variety of three dimensional shapes.
Jewelry
There are many shapes you can create for jewelry applications with the woven metal fabric. Lightweight and flexible, it is an exciting fashion accessory!
Vessels & Basketry
The woven metal fabric can be created in a range of widths (from 3/8" to several inches wide). The resulting fabric can be used for traditional basketry techniques and other vessel forms.
A Student's review of the Zoom Workshop
"What a fabulous weekend. I want to thank you for the time and effort you put into the Weaving with Wire workshop. I came away feeling inspired, excited, and confident that I could do it again on my own. I had never participated in a zoom workshop before but I found the actual format to be easy to work within and lively enough to feel like I had been a participant not just a viewer. There was enough time to accomplish the goals in each daily segment and your availability around the class time and by e-mail later on was very useful. The workbook materials will be very useful and I expect they’ll be dog-eared and well loved before long. Thanks again." - Judy D.
